Zarafa is a sculpture of a life size giraffe’s head designed and created by Yvette. Initially the shape is formed with wire mesh moulded by hand then secured onto a black painted shield for hanging on a wall. The sculpture is then finished by hand with mirrored glass mosaic tiles grouted in place and clear glass eyes inserted into the eye sockets.
